Capers are the cured unripened flower buds of a perennial plant native to the Mediterranean. The curing process brings out their tangy, lemon flavour. To enhance this unique flavour, we join these little treasures with another taste bomb from the Mediterranean – lemons.
- Add to browned butter and trickle over vegetables.
- Saute garlic in butter. Add Lemon and Caper Jelly and simmer for 30 seconds. Rub oil, salt and pepper on tuna and grill. Drizzle sauce over tuna and serve immediately with a salad of mixed greens and herbs.
with cream cheese and spread over a wholegrain bagel. Top with smoked salmon. Enjoy!
